I would like to tell you good news - the Christmas Angel Tree project goes further, out of Christmas time! We are preparing now a big summer camp for children in August 2009.

Children’s Bible

December 2008, a special edition of Children’s Bibles for children under the Christmas Angel Tree project was published with the assistance of the Institute for Bible Translation. This edition was of 6.000 copies.

The Christmas Angel Tree Project visits children

Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to give God’s love to people and bring news about the Nativity of Jesus Christ. Only God can restore broken relationships and broken bonds between convicts and their children very often. Churches in different districts of Russia has started visiting children under the Christmas Angel Tree project and congratulating them on behalf of their mothers and fathers with Christmas since December 20, 2008. Each present was included a toy, Children’s Bible, and a Christmas card signed by parent’s hand. Members of churches began visiting children at their living places. As a rule, these children stay with grandmothers or other relatives who take care about them while their mothers and fathers are away from them, and in State institutions such as orphanages, orphanages for newborns, boarding schools and other special schools.
